Mani Hospital in association with RC of Hassan Midtown organized a health awareness camp on 05.08.2018, on the occasion of “ World hepatitis day, ORS day & world breastfeeding week ” Dr. Siddaramu, consultant surgical gastroenterologist detailed about hepatitis.

Rtn.Dr Dinesh , consultant Paediatrician spoke on the importance of ORS and motivated the parents for breast feeding for at least two years

Rtn.Dr Sowmya mani ,consultant gynaecologist highlighted the advantages of breast feeding for a mother.

Rtn.Dr Mamatha Sudhir, president RC of Midtown Hassan briefed about the role of Rotary as a district project in making “ *empowering the*parents, enabling the breast*feeding “* to reach 8000-10000 mothers of the district

Dr YatishKumar,director of Mani Hospital presided over the programme and spoke on the significance of this to create awareness of the current health issues.

Around 120 people got benefited from the program and well appreciated. We also distributed the pamphlets of ORS & breastfeeding to the beneficiaries .programm was followed by a practical demonstration of breastfeeding techniques by audiovisual aids.
